At Woodwise Uk we offer a range of top quality exotic hardwoods. We stock bowl blanks, turning squares, pen blanks, snooker cue blanks, instrument blanks, planks, boards, burrs and when possible rare one of a kind exotics. We have a diverse range of customers and now thanks to our growing reputation we send our timbers worldwide.
Our expertise
Lee setup Woodwise Uk in 2008 after almost 15 years working in the exotic wood trade. It started at a young age when wood turning was introduced to him by an old friend and world renowned professional wood turner Jimmy Clewes. He then spent several years working at a local sawmill gaining the necessary knowledge and experience, which has brought us to where we are today.
We operate on a very relaxed and friendly approach. Our wood store is open 6 days a week 10am-5pm Mon-Fri, 1pm-5pm Sat, but please ring and let us know before hand. We much prefer our customers to pop in have a cuppa and select their timbers, but for the majority who are not able to, you can be assured our mail order customers both UK based and overseas, have only good things to say about Woodwise Uk.
Ordering & Delivery
We are based just outside Leek in Staffordshire and welcome any visits, please call to arrange a suitable day/time. Online orders will be dispatched the next working day (same day if possible) Delivery is 1-2 working days and applies to UK mainland, Highlands and Islands will incur additional costs. Orders under 2kg are sent using Royal Mail 2nd class. We offer excellent shipping rates for customers across Europe using DHL express please enquire before purchasing.
